Corporate Office Branding to Celebrate Success
How it all began…
Beiersdorf have long had a reputation for being innovators in the skin care industry. This coupled with a passion for making people feel good makes them the brand that everyone knows and loves today.
Beiersdorf were keen to continue this ‘feel good’ factor throughout their Birmingham offices by creating a more welcoming and interesting environment and by celebrating the success of the team. They had plenty of ideas but struggled to find an equally innovative sign company to realise their dream…until they stumbled across the website for HNS Signs.
Putting Nivea on the Map
The first task set out for HNS Signs was to recreate a world map made from Nivea skin cream tins. The map had to fit comfortably onto the chosen wall and create a real impact. This was created using a total of 788 tins!!!
Beiersdorf are a company who know what they want and what they do not want and they certainly did not want the standard “off the shelf” fixings readily available to the sign industry, so it was down to HNS Signs to create something which met the brief.
The end result was a beautiful piece of tactile wall art which demands attention.
Celebrating Success
Beiersdorf believe in celebrating the success of their people. Each year they hold awards at a lavish venue for a themed event. HNS Signs were asked to create a wall mural in the Great Gatsby theme which would incorporate a whopping 180 photographs from the night.
The guys at Beiersdorf sent over a multitude of photos and it was down to our design team to hand pick them (ensuring as many people as possible were featured) and crop them to fit within our wallpaper design.
The wallpaper spanned a wall of 6.5m long and faced another two walls which showed the beaming faces of those who had picked up the prestigious awards. HNS Signs worked with Gale & Co who hand-crafted beautiful frames with a fixing mechanism designed to ensure that the frames will remain tightly fastened to the wall and withstand any knocks suffered from a busy working environment.
Lighting up the Room!
In addition to the above, HNS Signs were entrusted with brightening up the meeting rooms. To add a little warmth and softness, we steered away form the usual illuminated boxes and opted for a textile solution. We also played with the depths of the individual boxes by manufacturing them at 3 different depths.
The easy to change design gives Beiersdorf the flexibility of being able to update and change the image as often as they desire.
Installed at your Convenience
To minimize disruption, all works were installed on a weekend and as it was all top secret, what a lovely surprise for everyone when they arrived at work on the Monday.
