Modus Creative were asked to design stunning window displays which would appeal to students and highlight what the campus has to offer. They had the design signed off but wanted our expertise to make their design come to life.

Our first task was to survey the site and take accurate measurements. We were then able to reset the artwork provided by Modus to fit the windows making sure that the frames would not disrupt the over all visual affect.  Aston University have a strict colour pallet which forms part of their brand, so we had to call on our vast network of vinyl suppliers to find the perfect colour match and in a 7-10 year life vinyl.

Modus were keen to use the geese theme…after all the geese are remembered by students long after they leave the University. They wanted a large goose to span the front windows of the Accommodation Office, but they didn’t want it to block light or for a large white shape to be shown from the inside. As contravision is a relatively short life, we decided that this was not an option. So instead we use a cast frosted vinyl which has a 10 year life, and laminated it to protect the print. This allows light into the building and the goose top be seen from either side of the glass.

Helping the University to celebrate 50 years with stunning window displays

Again working with Modus Creative, we helped the University celebrate its 50th Birthday! Modus sought our advice for short term (one year life) displays to show all that the University has accomplished. Following a site survey with Modus, we agreed on the best course of action top suit the University budget.
