Two Full Vehicle Wraps and a half Wrapped Touring Car
The Concept
Being designers and signwriters, we wanted to show the world what could be done to attract attention using vehicle wraps. Fed up of seeing dull liveries on the road which lacked impact and imagination, we decided to do something very different.
How It All Came together
With a wide variety of wrapping materials at our disposal, we decided to go all out and use a textured vinyl for the black areas and a sparkle laminate for the digital print.
We then spent two days wrapping the car, another two days wrapping the van and half a day doing the half wrap on a BTCC Touring Car.
All of this was custom designed by us, printed by us and applied in our Birmingham based factory.
The design was so effective that we often have people tweet us when they see our van on the road, or send us selfies of them with our van. Just goes to show that if you want a sign company with imagination and creativity, we are the ones to call.
The Design Concept
To make a real statement, we had to move away from the more corporate feel and make things a little crazy. As we are a creative bunch, we felt that it would be seen as acceptable. We decided to keep it in line with our identity by using our five colours but it had to relate with different elements of our profession.
This was no easy task for our graphic designer! He decided to show the sign painting from the wheel arch. The use of printing and dpi was reflected by the half tones, the fold symbolises self adhesive vinyl and as for the hand and the eye…well that was just cool.
