Great Barr Medical Centre
The Great Barr Medical Centre is a brand new purpose built medical centre designed to improve patient care throughout the community. Having invested a lot of time in designing and building this state of the art health centre, it was important that the healthcare signs lived up the the quality of the building and were clear and concise. We worked closely with Key Construction to ensure that the brief was met.
External Signs
We manufactured and installed two sets of stainless steel letters to the fascia of the building. Stainless steel was selected to ensure longevity and ease of cleaning. They also give the practice that professional look.
It is important that all external healthcare signs be made form a durable material to keep the centre looking professional and increasing patient confidence.
Projecting Signs
Health Centres often have long corridors making it difficult to quickly identify a room. To overcome this problem, we installed projecting signs. This is something that we advise for all healthcare sign packages.
Internal Way-finding health care signs
The internal directional healthcare signs were manufactured from PVC foam. Not only is this material cost effective, it is also fire rated, easy to clean and with vinyl lettering, they can be easily updated to accommodate future growth of the surgery.
The white on blue offers the perfect colour contrast making it easier for patients, including some with visual impairments, being able to navigate their way around the surgery.
